A Short history & achievement of Darul Uloom Ahmadia Salafia

At the end of 18th century when the Islamic rule in India came to an end and the British took the rein of administration in their hands, they at first started such governments and curriculum, the main motto of which was to rule out the Islamic Civilization and Culture and the effort to boycott the Islamic faith and religion. The then eminent scholars of Islam realized the imperialism and the dangers caused by it and they tried their best for its remedial measures. Hence, by their constant efforts, the Arabic and deeni Madrasas were established in every nook and corner of the country. This grand educational institution. Darul Uloom Ahmadi Salafia is one of the historical Madrasads which is situated in the town of Laherisarai, Darbhnaga in Bihar. Its foundation stone was laid down in 1918 by Hazrat Maulana Abdul Aziz Saheb Mohaddis Rahimabadi, disciple of Hazrat Maulana Syed Nazir Husain Behari Dehlawi and eminent scholar of the sub-continent. Within a very short period after its establishment its honorable founder died and the responsibility of management and up keep of the Madrasa came on Dr. Syed Mohammad Fareed. He irrigated this Educational Institution’s graden and brought it to the highest peak of name and fame. Hundreds of scholars came out successful from this Madrasa and they engaged themselves in the enhancement of Islam and Islamic Aquaid. They also exerted themselves in the expansion of Islamic Principles by their speeches and writing and people got its benefits. The people of the country were surprised at its progress and its name and fame echoed in every nook and corner of the country. After the death of Dr. Md. Fareed the management of this Madrasa fell into the hands of his able son Dr. Abdul Hafeez Salafi. He discharged his duty efficiently, made many changes in the curriculum, increased the strength of students every year, started the different departments of the Madrasa, filled the library with good and rare books, made a lot of improvement in the management and expanded its branches in different sectors. These are the results of his constant efforts. Now a days this Deeni Madrsa is the seat of learning for every learning society and has become the centre of attraction of the learned people. May Allah be helpful in the fulfillment of our aims and objects. Amin. Syllabus and course of studies of Darul Uloom and its different branches. The total period of courses of studies has been divided as follows: - (i) Primary stage (Ibtedaiya) 7 years duration. (ii) Secondary stage (Sasnwiya) 3 years duration. (iii) Intermediate (motawassita) 2 Years duration. (iv) Alimiyat (Graduation) 3 Years duration. (v) Fazilat (Post Graduation) 2 years duration. Darul Uloom has separate dept. of commoration (Hifz) of the Holy Qur’an (Tahfizul Qur’an). A girl Arabic College for imparting Deeni and Modern Education to girl students is also functioning separately.
